Hi all.
I have been studying the Phantom last few days and I think I´m ready to buy. I just want to know if I haven´t thought of everything since this is my first setup. I was hoping you guys could help me out :)

Here´s what I got already:
- Phantom DJI (extra battery, propellers and propellers guard: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321191949445
- One more battery: http://www.ebay.com/itm/DJI-Phantom-Rep ... 3f288b3464

- TAROT 2-Axis Brushless Gimbal Rack Assembly T-2D For Gopro Hero 3 FPV RC DJI MWC: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAROT-2-Axis-Br ... 33841532ad
- Brushless Gimbal Adapter Board for TAROT T-2D Gimbal to DJI PHANTOM: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181203680335
- Pitch Control Lever for Dji Phantom - TAROT ARTF Gimbal by TACOTOY GOPRO 3: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181184183131

- Fatshark Predator v2: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__28342__FatShark_PredatorV2_RTF_FPV_Headset_System_w_Camera_and_5_8G_TX.html

First, is this all correct items - will this all fit together?
Second, do you think I should get something else or more?

You got a good price on the Phantom considering the extras! Congrats!

Defintely more batteries. The more the merrier. And a good charger that can do multiple batteries at once.

Just to give you an idea of what "your going to need". This is what I bought in about a months time.. Prepare yourself..

That is alot of stuff!
Will i need some extra transmitter with the Fatshark predator or is it included in the package?
I'm just trying to think of everything before I order so I don't have to wait weeks to get it delivered if I miss something..

The Predator comes with a TX, camera, cables, antennas and power filter. Depending on how you fly (and how far) you may want to order some circular polarized antennas for better and longer range reception. But they arent totally necessary for short 3-500ft distances. I can tell you one of the least expensive and best investments I made was for a super bright LED that I velcro'd to the front of my Phantom. When your not FPV'ing its one of the best ways to judge your orientation.

The rest of the stuff isnt absolutely necessary but its easy to get caught up in it! :D

Have fun!

Right now there is a major change in the quad copter market. Next month there will be available three other 350 size quadcopters at a little more than half the price of the Phantom. There is the Blade 350 QX, the Walkera X350, and the latest I just heard about is the Ideal Fly Apollo. I have no opinions on any of them because they are all new. I have a Phantom, I'm happy with it but at the time there were no others competitors. Just wanted to let you know the market is changing and even the Phantom may come down in price because of the competition.

The only one I would consider close to the Phantom would be the Walkera. If you were to price it out on there website with everything you wont be surprised to find it has a $679.00 price tag which is exactly what the Phantom retails for.

Its always good to see companies coming up with new types of Quads and I certainly wouldnt say the Phantom is my end all Quad, but its been a great first Quad for me. I'll probably go larger on my next one though just because I like to pack a lot into it.

You're right I would be REAL surprised for the price to be that high. The Walkera site list the BNF as $299. I bought this version from
Walkerahelicoptersupply for more at $325 + $25 shipping because they had it. Are you trying to tell me that a radio, battery, and charger are going to add up to another 350? I tried to verify the price on the more complete version but had trouble with both sites tonight.
Correction just got through to Walkerahelicoptersupply and price with radio, battery, and charger is $449.
