The Charlotte County Fair Grounds will be opening up their large outdoor facility for pilots to form their own teams and leagues for drone racing. I'm interested. Close to home and I would really like to come out and learn.

I'm just now shopping for my first real drone and would love to meet up with some locals who can teach me some of the basics and maybe help me avoid wasteful purchases.

However learning anything from local pilots can be useful.
