New phantom 4 range test.

OK I just had to try it! After reading all the complaints how SOME folks couldn't obtain 1500-3000 feet distance, I had to give it a go. Took off from a community park and over high-voltage towers in front of me about 500 feet away from take off. Made a distance of 2.1 miles just under 400 feet elevation. Signal errors kicked in and I returned it back to home. No range extenders. I'm perfectly happy with the range I got.

Nice Picture!! I think most of the range issue comes into play when you fly into area's that are not wide open. Lots of tree's buildings cell phone towers etc.

Wow that's awesome! I actually have quite a bit of high voltage towers near me too. It's good to see they dont affect the aircraft.
