I just got a new battery a few weeks ago, I haven’t charged it up yet. Im not planning on flying for a few more weeks, should I just not charge the new battery up or should I charge it?

I wouldnt bother charging it... but always keep your batteries at 50% if your not flying for a while
You should probably test it before the return date passes, as some of the batteries are known to be DOA. And make sure it fully charges, too.
