Need info on care of new dji phantom 4 battery

Hello all. I bought a new dji phantom 4 battery about a month ago for a back up battery. I have two that I use on a regular basis. I have not charged the new one yet, it has one solid light and one light flashing. It's been this way sense I received it. I dont want to use it until I have to.
My question is , what should I do about charging the new one? I dont know if I should keep a full charge on it or keep it at it's current level. Any advice would be appreciated.

Go ahead and charge it. Let the auto discharge function do its thing. I have all my batteries set for 3 days auto discharge. If I don't use them I just check on them monthly and top of to 40% if needed.

That is done through the app while connected to the aircraft.
