Here’s a My Year video I did for my son featuring locations around the US and Mexico with something fun each of the 4 seasons. Filmed with Mavic Pro and Phantom. Hope you like it.

I’m curious, the aerial shots for NYC, did you have to get permission? I’m from UK but thought using drones near Statue of Liberty etc. was a no no?

That was shot prior to the new FAA regulation for certain sites like Statue of Liberty. Even with the new regulation, I did not fly over the statue just around perimeter.
The first challenge is take off location. I did so from New Jersey side, isolated parking lot in liberty state park on north side. Second challenge is avoiding helicopters. They fly lower than 400ft. If you go early, near sunrise, you should avoid most of them.
