Jerry here, with my latest build!
The story:
A great friend here, sent me a RotorPixel, gimbal that had been damaged, his bird experienced motor failure, that forced his bird to the ground from 250' up, destroyed bird and gimbal! We rebuilt his bird ( completely ), and it turned out GREAT! ( like a brand new craft ( spare no expense )) But in turn, he gave me this gimbal for helping him breathe new life into his phantom vision, and getting her airborne again! ( although, I asked for nothing , I was doing nothing more than helping a friend out, as should anyone ) but he twisted my arm, so here is what I got, and what I did!

The untouched gimbal ( only removed from bird:
( was damaged and muddy )
Here are a couple other pics I took ( for plug placement after rebuild )

From there, I disassembled it completely, finding only 2 BROKEN parts ( 1x brushless motor, and 1x vertical mount ) cost me $80 for the parts shipped!

So after a few hours of Cleaning, oiling, assembling, balancing, zip-tying, ect.
Here is the end result, Do you like?
Decided on a Black/White theme, which most know, is TOTALLY out of character for me, but I like it! My wife says put a big STAR on top, it would look like a police vehicle! I said then I'd have to put red/blue flashing LED's on it too! I'll throw a pass on that play! I kinda like it as is!
