Multiple issues with P4P ///HELP/// PLZ

It should be a quad-core but a i7-2720QM 2nd Gen. It maxes out at 16GB of RAM which is fine. I would look a little bit more to see if you can get a 5th or 6th Gen. Look for i7-5xxx or 6xxx. The first number is the Gen.
Thanks again for the help

that was an interesting read. I have to do a lot of vision sensor calibrations for other people. It happens after a crash or just happens. I use an old laptop with not much in it except for DJI Assistant 2. Not sure of ram or the processor. I don't think it takes much. I use Windows10
I actually use Assistant 2 for firmware updates as it is easier for me

I was complete newbie, bought new P4P+ 2017.
Never updated firmware-software.
Where your drone was when you saw warnings
could be cause, e.g., inside, near metal, etc.
I ignore warnings as long as I get GPS signals.
Take-off from grass, ground, sidewalk, street,
away from trees, telephone poles-wires, signs, etc.
Your first flight hover for a few minutes at ~10 feet
& try short horizontal movements via right lever,
ups & downs & rotation via left lever. Then land.
In follow-up flights, add some height & distance.
Whenever approaching trouble via objects, IMO,
best instant reaction = go up;
Whenever approaching trouble via wind, IMO,
best instant reaction = go down = lower wind speed...

Sidewalks and other concrete structures are not always a good idea as they contain rebar and other metal structural objects.

Thanks for all the tips. I've had it for 2 weeks and still have not flown it. Got a bit frustrated that I needed possible new phone and tablet after initial cost. Didn't see that coming.
Even more aggravating is trying to figure out which phone and tablet will work. I definitely wouldn't want to buy both and then have to buy both again.
Even calling dji was no help. I couldn't understand nearly anything the rep was saying( bad english with heavy accent).
I've moved on to a jeep project and will get back to studying my OP questions when this initial bad taste wears off.
