MOV files crashing

I bought a Phantom 3 Standard 2 weeks ago. The MOV files it creates are crashing my default Windows movies & TV app on Windows 10. Windows Movie Maker also rashes while trying to open it. I tried reinstalling these programs but still no solution.

Can anyone suggest what to do here? Is there any other basic movie player that can help me edit clicks for my small Instagram 12 second clips?

Have you tried using the MP4 format instead of MOV?

And install vlc to watch them. Failing all that maybe your hardware isn't up to it.

As mentioned above, don't use the MOV container if you life in the windows ecosystem. They're not worth the hassle.
