Modded firmware, no video but everything else is good

I have a Phantom 4 standard that my buddy modded for me some time ago. I'm having an issue with the video and I suspect the remote firmware got updated and is causing the live feed to be black. I can control the gimbal and even fly LOS.

Since I wasn't the one that modded the firmware, I want to learn how to do it so I can fix this. Where should I start?

Had same problem w/P4 advance. Updating firmware in remote took care og it
