I have a GoPro 3 that supports 64gb. Found out the hardway that my Samsung Evo 64gb was a fake. The data was corrupt. Luckily I transfer to PC regularly and only lost a handful of pics and 1 video.

There is a very useful app called SD Insight on the Play store that checks the manufacturer of the SD cards. Its quick and can be done in the field, but I suggest you check the moment you receive it.

Nice one.I once bought a 64Gb supposedly Samsung card but it was a fake. Got it off eBay. Does seem to be a lot of fake ones about.
