Nothing wrong with having multiple transmitters either. One stock, for ease of lightweight, compact, transport and deployment out of a standard case, and second one with DBS-02 boosted for long range, when you don't mind the extra hassle, size, and weight.I've read from the beginning and almost went for the maxxrange. The size of it stopped me though and I went for the 02. The big plate is a commitment. You have to be committed to long range flight if that's the only one you're gonna buy. I wouldn't recommend you buy it if you're not flying serious long range all the time. Either that or buy the 02 as well if you don't really need to push the limits frequently enough. I haven't even needed to install the 02 yet. The whole kit is still in the box. I don't usually fly manually or litchi missions much further than 2-3 thousand feet out. I got the 02 thinking it would be nice insurance that at any time the extra umph would be great. I also have the boosters to install. But at those distances I have never had an issue remaining stock with windsurfers. I've flown behind me with windsurfers on with perfect signal, lol. Assess what you really want and how you really fly. There's no denying the charm and ease of picking up a stock remote and just going out to fly. That has always been the draw of dji light bridge. Once you mod, you're in it and that includes the extra inconvenience. Think wisely.
