Mavic Controller Stuck on "Connecting..."

I got my new Mavic today. I tried to turn both the controller and the drone on. But the controller is stuck on "Connecting..." in the display. I tried to re-link and it appears to be linked as the light is green on the side of the drone. What am I doing wrong or what else can I try?
