Because Skippy said it is a P330d with a 5.8gHz TX,the only P1 type Phantom with 5.8gHz TX is an FC40.

DJI put out some P1s on 5.8 ghz also. Not sure why. maybe so some could use wifi on their gopros

Well like they say,you learn something new every day.

I had a look at the manuals for both (P1/FC40) and you would be better off using the FC40 manual if the controller is 5.8gHz.
There is not a lot of difference in the information supplied in each manual except for the FC40 camera related stuff and that that directly relates to 5.8gHz.
I couldn't find a non FC40 5.8 Phantom manual.It looks like a "see FC40 manual" situation anyway.
Everything in the iteration history for FC40 and 5.8 Phantom lumps them in together as being the same.
