Litchi Mission: Playing it Safe

How close to the actual mission waypoints will the drone fly? Can I assume a 5 meter radius around any given waypoint? I am planning a mission where the drone will drop down to about 5-8 meters above the water within a canal. On the left shore of this canal are trees about 20 meters in height. (see video below). To avoid potentially crashing into the trees where should I plot my waypoints? (i.e. above the water, right shore of the canal)

I think I would assume a 10 meter radius to be safe.

But even then, that sounds like a risky mission to me. You're limited to GPS (no GLONASS). You're dropping below the tree line on one side which will potentially block sats. So I'd want Sats numbering on the high end - at least 9 or 10.

Your vid doesn't work.

The original one I posted (before Youtube actually finished processing it) did not work because Youtube kept rejecting it (invalid File format). I assume that is the one you tried to view. The newest should work ok now, I hope.
