Lightbridge- HD video downlink and not an antenna upgrade?

Does Lightbridge itself improve maximum range? I have this mod here, I've probably put in the cost of what the Advanced is now.

I haven't tried my maximum range, but it's a very well built mod, fits well in my case, easy to charge, and is very comfortable holding.

I also learned a lot about the remote and radio frequencies in the process.

I'm not looking for absolute maximum distance with the Phantom series, but with something capable of 10,000'+ is that something to work with?

Lightbridge improves the maximum range and the video quality. why didn't you just go for the P3A if you have spent that amount on mods?

At the time of purchase, the advanced model was at a much higher cost than it is now. Is it better to have an external antenna over one internally?

well it is better to have the antenna itself outside obviously but not the electronics like the cables and structure all that does is make it not fit in the case
