Left my P4 controller on for 10 hours

After flying this morning, I had turned off my Phantom 4 battery but left the controller turned on and placed it in the case. At approx 6pm I heard a beeping sound coming from my drone case and opened it to find my controller on and very hot to the touch. Is it possible I may have damaged the rechargeable battery?

It's probably ok.. just warm because it was enclosed. Charge it up and report back

Otho get should go wrong. It's hot cause it was sitting inside the box.

Cool it down, then recharge and all should be good to go.
