I didn't do due diligence the last ime I stored my P3 Pro away. Now both batteries are drained below minimum voltage, and won't charge. They're not swollen or damaged in any way. In fact, they have had very little flying time and are like brand new. Except they're dead. Is there anything I can do to revive the batteries?

Yes. Search the forum, or the net generally, for clearing PF (Permanent Failure) flag in BMS (Battery Management System) chip.
You will find both the procedure and the explanation of related risks.

Quick question,

If you press power button on the battery doesn't it do anything?
How long did you wait in hours when hooked up the charger?
My memory is some like hold down the power button on the battery when you plug it in.

Anyways, I bet @quaddamage is going to have better info then I.

Hhi Rod

Nothing at all from either of the batteries when I press the buttons. I left one on charge overnight, the other on charge the whole following day. Not a peep.

I meant to add, the controller is charging perfectly. And my multimeter shows the charger is putting out around 17.4v.

Since I am here and some battery experienced community might read that. I also do have one problematic battery that have about 92% capacity with about 100 cycles on counter. After last time I charged it, it shows full charge but once turned on it turns off immediately. Any idea how/if such behaviour could be fixed. Seems like still well worth using battery.

About 4 years ago, I rescued my P3 standard battery using an old HeathKit Variable Power Supply. I put one VDC into it for several hours. WATCH the POLARITY! I monitor with a Volt meter. I slowly increase the voltage and after it reaches about 5-6 volts (I don't recall the actual readings today) I charge the battery with the normal charger. The battery is still working today.
YMMV Good Luck

@ArmyVet !!

HeathKit :)

I love it, I forgot about those, I did like three the only two I can remember, they worked kinda.
OMG!! 👌
