Called DGI today asking some questions.
It took over a hour to get any help.
Does it always take so long,

Sometimes. If you need help with something, you'll likely get a faster answer by searching here or starting a new thread here.

You will probably find that asking a question here, correctly and with enough detail, will produce an answer within and hour or so from a group of flyers who have "been there and done that".

Almost every problem so far has been accounted for on this forum and there are some very intelligent and resourceful people here who can help out.

Thanks
I hope I can try to take it slow enough to not have a lot of problems.
Think I will keep it in Beginners mode for a while.
I'm still in the Skeered mode right now.
Don't want it up in a tree. Or to fly away .
Or to get in the lake.
Don't exactly trust myself yet.
Don't want to get in trouble.

Do read the manual fully as there is some really good advice in the mate

Sorry, I tried to read it. It's not where I can keep up with it.
English and then something else.
It leaves out a lot.
For me it was easier to watch Youtube videos.
Both unboxing it. Setting up the DGI account. Except for the part to set it up on my phone and not the computer.
And calibrating the compass, and how to take off and land.
Also watched some youtube videos on flying the thing.

Don't use the chat option for help. Those online DJI chat employees are newbies in China. You'll almost always get bad advice. Often they hinder more than they help.
