iPad Mini vs iPhone 6

Currently using an iPhone 6 (w P4) and am considering getting an iPad mini for greater visibility. I would have to tether it though I suppose.

Anyone make this change? Worth the money?

Are you referring to tethering to download the maps when out flying? If so, yes, you'll need to do that if you don't cache them ahead of time.

Make sure you get the iPad Mini 2/3/4. The iPad Mini 1 will not be able to run DJI GO.

I got a mini 3 with cellular. Was using my iPhone 6s and it was the best decision I could of ever made.

I started also wih iPhone 6p. Changed to iPad mini 4 w cellular, and the flight experience got much better. The only drawback is the poor screen visibility in sunny days, but I do not have found any better tablet yet!

Great to hear as I ordered a Mini 4 last week and should be here early this week
