iPad Air 2 Freezes up

I began flying my then new P4A using my older Air 2. The Air 2 has plenty power. In fact, now I purchased a new Ipad 2017 to use for flight control and the IPad Air 2 for editing. Why? Because the new Ipad 2017 WILL NOT display 4K video natively.

Air 2 good to go.

I'm guessing it's the 9.7" iPad pro? Does it fit in the remote properly?

Yes. Bought a used one. Fits the cradle perfectly and snuggly.
