Interested in Upgrading P3S Antennas

Hi guys. I'm interested in upgrading the antennas on my P3S Tx and am curious if it would be possible or beneficial to install wifi router antennae into the tx ( 2 2.4 ghz and 1 5ghz) to increase range. I know it's possible to install as I saw one video of a guy doing it, just want to know if range would be increased. Thanks.
