insights about Phantom with propguards?

Hello I purchased my Phantom 2 last May and before flying I placed the Propguards i bought with it.


Just yesterday since i was already confident enough, I removed the propguards in my phantom. I noticed that it was more stable when the prop guards was on even if its windy. After i removed the prop guards, it was easier to control, faster in reaction and it gets flown away easily due to wind.

now my question is, do you experience the same thing? is it better to fly with the propguards on if its windy? or do i need more practice to control a faster aircraft?

They reduce the efficiency of your Phantom, slow it down and catch the wind like sails.
In windy conditions you are better off without them.
