IMU Calibration

The part about magnetism. Not an issue with IMU.
 
If I don't have any noticeable problems is it still worth do imu calibration just to make it perfect
 
I don't know what's wrong with that post you linked to, it's a solid suggestion to go by.

I was referring to this section, "firm, level surface with no vibrations, other electronics, magnets (e.g., stereo speakers) or metal nearby (this includes rebar in your concrete driveway)." The rest is great and very helpful.

Yeah that probably got transferred on over from naza and a2 suggestions. Since when doing an IMU cal it's also doing a system cal of the compass as well. The p3 is a little different and just requires a flat surface with the imu cool before starting.
