If I'm only flying max 1km and want 4K video - should I buy the standard 4K or professional?

Seems like the obvious choice is the standard 4K, do you guys agree? No need to pay the extra $450 for the pro.

Depends on how important the price difference is to you. There are a lot here posting that struggle to get anywhere near 1km with a standard or 4k, particularily in populated areas.

I agree with previous posters, try to get a pro...even second hand!

I have a standard and apart from firmware issues it is brilliant but 1k? No way! At least without all sorts of mods and a ton of luck!

Do you really need 1k? That is the decider here.

You won't get 1km in a populated area and in the UK so you shouldn't. Flying over people's homes is a no-no. However in a quiet spot with no interference 1500 meters is easily achieved.

Forget the 4k and get the Advanced. Shoot in 1080P 60fps at 60Mbps.
