Hello, does anyone know the steps for replacing the gimbal board on a P3 Pro.
I have been searching with no luck.
I have been dealing with the 08 1500 device not detected issue for almost a year and finally found a crashed P3 Pro and purchased the gimbal board.
I want to install the new gimbal board but don’t want a firmware mismatch or a leap in firmware versions which I believe is what caused my issues in the first place.
Is there a way to tell what firmware version is on the new gimbal board?
Thanks in advance.

If you look around recent posts someone recently described how to read and flash firmware directly to the gimble board on the P3P as past of replacing it.

There is lots of movies on YT showing how to disassemble the gimbal. Watch a few to make sure you get all important points.

You can still fix that board. I did just that:

Assemble the drone, then you can check the firmware. The simplest way is to place a very old FW to sd-card - so old that it will not cause any update. If you do that, update log will be still created and will show versions of each component. Then you can match component version and FW version from the wiki:

That should work, thanks. My board was at version 1.7, I think the new board has been updated to a newer version. I have not received it yet but the guy I purchased it from said he has always stayed up to date with the latest firmware. I really don't want to go past version 1.7.
