Hi guys. Can someone explain how to cache maps in the DJI app.
I know where the setting is, but do you just slide the map to where you will be flying? I live in Las Vegas and drove to mount charleston yesterday only to find out there is no cell service anywhere to be found. I was not able to fly.

You just view the maps on wifi or whatever beforehand.
With Android you can view the area in google maps which might be slightly quicker to open - the DJI app seems to be able to access that cache.
I heard the cache is retained for 30 days but in my experience it seems to vary and probably much less than that.
However you can turn the device completely off without losing the cache.
