How can you damage the camera:o

Some people report their camera is dead/shattered after a crash.
I wonder how so many people are actually reporting this since it is surrounded by the landing set.
The only way i can see it, is that there is a sticky object on the ground it crashes on. Hitting the camera instead of the landing gear.

I wonder how these crashes happened and why it happens so much.

The dampers pop out of the upper plate and the whole assembly, camera and all, hits the ground.

I guess that makes a case for using a couple zip ties on at least 2 of the bumpers

I have all four of my dampners loosely zip tied in. I think it's a great idea and should lessen the damage if you have a hard crash...
