Downloaded update.
I love the improvements!
Sooo, what's coming next? ;-)

You all can help us with that :) Next steps:

- More qualified news sources (ongoing)
- International no-fly zone maps
- Better news feed experience

Wild ideas:
- Chat groups for pilots in your local area?
- A simple "drone catalog" to help new users choose their drone.
- Flight checklist

Customizable Flight Checklist :)

Really like it so far. Would be nice if the maps worked in canada too. Other than that I think its great.

Map internationalization is one of our top priorities ;)

We've officially launched Hover on Android! Get it now!

Really nice from a usability point of view.

A couple of downsides for me :
Why cant I have mph and degrees C. These are the units used in the UK.
The no fly zone of the US is not much use to me.

On the otherhand I like the way the temperature/wind/k index is presented.
Some indication that it *really* is reporting on my location would be nice.

I look forward to the next version.

We will be changing the toggle to be independent for the temperature and wind speed. International no-fly zone maps are a top priority so we will try to get those out within the next 1-2 weeks.

Hmm I'll look into other ways we can visualize the location information :)

Cheers,
Dan

Re: Hover - #1 app for Drone Enthusiasts - Android V1.0 out!

We'd like to encourage anyone to post questions or feature requests!

Using this on a Samsung in the UK, all i get are 3 yellow screen, stopwatch, compass that doesnt work ??

KP index of 0
and a rate our app and feedback box

Am i supposed to see more ?

The latest update is a little underwhelming.

The promised "break out" of the temperature and windspeed "toggles" which was promised by Dan in "the next update" didnt make it for some reason.

Hey Hughie,

Simply tap the temperature and windspeed data to toggle. We haven't pushed an update since I've last made that comment, but the individual toggling will be included in the update.

Thanks Dan but the version I downloaded yesterday does seem to be an update to the one I installed on 27th which I fed back on earlier in this thread. The reason for this is that the black region bug is now fixed as you indicated in you version history. We must have wires crossed.

Good luck with the app.

Oh I c, you are on Android. For some reason I was thinking iOS. Ya that is a much quicker fix which we should have done a few days ago. Expect a fix in the next 24-48 hours.
