So I'm using Davinci resolve 14 beta, I know how to grab stills but when I export I feel like it's not exporting at high resolution. What are some of your techniques on getting high resolution photos from your footage with our without resolve? I may be going about it the wrong way.

Your frame grabs should be around 8.3 mpix from 4K footage (just over 2mpix from 1080), perhaps you are doing a screen grab which might be substantially lower (limited by your display resolution). While you can get some great stills from video footage dedicated stills will usually appear significantly better due to the absence of compression artifacts and motion blur.
