Since most of you guys use UAV Forecast I was wondering what do you guys use for settings. I know there are some defaults but I do not use them all. I know some people are going to say it depends on what you are comfortable with but I am looking for some sage advice. For example, what height to you enter, how many satellites (min), wind chill or not. Let me know your settings. Can someone suggest ideal settings.

Ideal settings are a personal choice based upon your tolerance I think...

I typically use on my Android tablet version:

Max wind: 20mph
Wind altitude: 400ft
Min Wind chill: 25F
Max Precip prob: 40%
Max Cloud cover: 85%
Min visibility: 5miles
Min GPS sats: 8
GPS Elevation mask: 20
Max KP: 5
Show TFRs: On
Show NFZs: On
Show Daylight Hrs only: On

YMMV....

Some people don't mind being colder or want it warmer or like less wind or don't care about wind or don't care if it's gonna rain soon, etc.... So, I look at any "red bits" in the results and decide at that moment how I'm feeling about it...

I see it shows wind direction but the arrow doesn't really show the true direction. For example, it knows my location at startup. If I stand with my iPad facing North then turn facing west, the arrow remains in the same direction it was at startup, and doesn't move. Therefore I find that info useless.
