Help with Firmware

I have a P3A but I'm helping my friend get his new P4 ready to fly. I did the AC firmware update using the DJI Assistant from a PC. Does it update the battery firmware? If so, how do I update the other 2 batteries he owns?

If the AC is updated it will automatically update the batteries when you power up. The battery that was in the bird when you did the AC update is already updated.
