How does the app update the firmware on the controller??? Without using the sd card??? so confused .

The device is connected to the Controller-- thus they have programmed the App to Upgrade the Controller on all the latest 300 B versions of the controller.

I've tried too. It doesn't work for me. It says that it's updated on the sd card but everytime I turn on the app it says I need to update my controller. For me I think it's a bug. Wish it was fixed.
Yes- check your controller model number on back of controller- there's the a and the b. If u have the b, then just turn on craft, turn on controller, plug in device, load app. Then tap the status bar at the top middle of screen, then tap overall status I think then download the update for the controller.
