Help! New P4P flickers during day! WTF

I've only had the P4P two weeks. I flew it around 2pm in 92 degree Texas heat, and flickering on my iPad mini 4 was so bad I could barely see. I'm talking green and black screens at less than 100 feet high and distance. On the other hand I managed a distance of 4 miles and regular height at night. I've read about overheating on iPads and iPhones. I have a hood, and tried flying from inside an air conditioned car. Still happened! So it the aircraft too hot during the day? I never had this happen with my P4. What good is a drone I can't fly during the day?!? [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30] I'll attract the screen shots. Thanks in advance

Mine did same thing this week on my ipad air 2 until I switched it to 5ghz and manually selected a clear channel. No idea why it solved it but may be worth a shot.

I have a P4 standard and iPad Mini 4 with cellular. I get the green screens and partial black stripes, (just what you posted above). I dont know what causes it but, I dont think its ambient heat or ipad heat.

My hunch tells me its the vicinity area we are flying, has lots of electronic interference surrounding the controller and bird. I will have to take note of channels used and if channels are green or red on my next flight.
