Hello from southern Ontario

Hi folks, I'm a new member here from southern Ontario, about an hour north of Toronto. While new to the forum, I'm not completely new to drones having flown micro drones for. couple o years.

I'm here as I am considering a Phantom 3 Pro or a Phantom 4 for my first heavier than 250g drone for my licence here in Canada.

Hello from Florida, sorry about the tarrifs. Please consider the P4 series over the P3, it's a bit newer tech and parts are more readily available. I've owned many of both and still have a small fleet (3) P4Ps. I keep them for their load carrying abilities more than their incredible camera. Seen some asking ridiculous prices but they are available rather cheap nowadays. $4or500 US will get you a beautiful machine. Anyways, welcome to the forum and hope to hear back that you be flying.

Hi, thank you for the information. The tariffs, yes what a global mess we all have, hopefully it will settle down and get back to the way it was. I've been leaning towards the P4 but like you said many are still asking a lot for them. For what some local folks are asking I could almost get into a new DJI Mini. Just waiting around for a more local P4 to come up at a good price.

Hi Rod, typically the little, less intelligent , cheap drones. The largest being a non-edu version of the Ryze Tello (80g weight)
