Hi all I’m Ben and I’m new to drones.I have been given by a friend a DJ phantom 3 it’s a 2015 model I think.I wondered if anyone would be kind enough to help me with wiring. The gps is broken so I need to sort this. However I’m having issues with 2 interior cables and they are ripped Out of place and I cannot find anywhere a photo or book of where they go!.Happy to share photos apart from that I’m told its in working Order Just needs it sorted.Thaks Ben

Sorry Ben, I can help more if I had pictures.
GPS is very important for a beginner. Unless there was a bad wreck, GPS doesn't go bad. Make sure it is plugged in. There is a 12 lead ribbon cable that is plugged in to the main board that goes to the gimbal. That is the power to the gimbal. Black and gray wires are your antennas that connects to the gimbal. Good luck.

Hi thanks for the responses, afraid the serial decoder says not recognised and simply says the production date.Ive trawled YouTube already and no luck.Heres the pictures, any help would be appreciated.

Agree me no nothing about p2 but its possible that clips into board once you undo those main screws holding board down,I see if I can find picture,,,,if you search phantom 2 teardown you might find some pictures,,here's one where I think your grey wire goes, seems they plug under the board

It's an antique! A genuine classic. Gotta be worth some big bucks. Like finding a '56 Thunderbird convertible. Logic says that there should have been a P1 but you just never see one.
A friend of mine has a private airfield near me, he has a p1 like new. He said he only flew it a couple of times. I bet I could get it cheap. Find that big bucks buyer and I'll split it with you. Lol
