Hand launch/catch

I chose to opt out of registering. 1. I saved myself being on another database. 2. Would be harder to trace back to me in the event of a fly away. 3. I've not once been asked for it.

4. I've forfeited any chance of having a good samaritan return my flyaway drone because there was no registration number to track my name and address.

I agree, if a drone fell out of the sky and injured someone or damaged something, nobody would be able to tell who is responsible for it.

The authorities will track you through DJI. Serial numbers and flight logs. Then you'll be in way more trouble for not registering.
