On GroupOn goods, they are advertising a P3P at a 17% savings. Pretty good deal right? I mean, who can pass up a $250 savings? https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-dj...ource=uu19218976&utm_campaign=UserReferral_ma
The problem is they say the value of the P3P is $1499.99. This is without any add-ons. No extra battery, no backpack. Nothing extra. Quick check and you can still get the P3P at the DJI Store, as well as many other responsible dealers for $1259. Groupon appears to simply have inflated the price, and claimed you save 17%! Ok...there is a savings of $9.01, which by my math is less then .8% savings, nowhere near 17%. They don't even specify who is actually fulfilling the orders.
What? Is GroupOn now a DJI reseller?
I can't imagine what responsible, well researched purchaser would actually buy something like a Phantom from GroupOn especially as they advertise a false $250, 17% savings, but what really irks me is there are so many examples of responsible DJI dealers that actually support our hobby (many of them with a positive presence here), it's unfortunate GroupOn gets away with inflating, then discounting at a "savings". If I was an official DJI reseller, I'd be upset.
