Ground Station on iPad not linking

I can get my WiFi conection to the Phantom and iPad working but when I launch the ground station app it does not link to the bird.
I get a message that my Bluetooth is turned off? Turning it on does nothing either but I'm pretty sure there is no Bluetooth involved with this system at all?

Any ideas?
 
Are you trying to use the iPad Ground Station stand alone iPad app with the Vision Plus? That will not work.

You need to use the Ground Station function within the DJI Vision iPhone app.
 
it seems that having two different versions of Ground station is a bit confusing.

On the non vision phantoms, ground station is used with a bluetooth adapter See here for the official DJI guide to its use

On the Vision range of phantoms its a simple case of activating the Ground station function in the DJI app.
 
Ok,
Too bad it does not work with a vision plus, the ipad version seems to have more capability like types of turns and better speed control. Plus a bigger view port.
Oh well, the iPhone version works well enough.
