I posted on this over the weekend, but sadly the topic seems to have vanished as part of the data loss.
To recap I was trying to get a full screen on the Black Pearl from a GoPro Hero 3 White, trying all the various combinations of aspect ratios of both devices, and the only way I could do it was to compromise the GoPro recording (slightly) by setting it to 960.
As an update, I have tried this now with a Hero 3+ Black, and it works nicely (full FPV screen display) if the camera is setup for 1440p - which is plenty for my purposes for GoPro recording.
