Goodyear Blimp Verses Phantom

Watching the baseball world series on TV and seeing the video shots from the Goodyear blimp---wouldn't it be much less expensive to just use a Phantom?

The Goodyear Blimp has a slightly better endurance and can carry several crew, professional camera gear and equipment to broadcast live.
Apart from that they are pretty evenly matched.

On the other hand a drone can get in a lot closer without putting the field in deep shadow and get shots other than verticals.

The phantom is not really designed for professional use. You would need something more geared for live tv coverage.
Doesn't the FAA have a no fly zone for MLB post season games?
And why is it legal for the goodyear blimp to do this when it is illegal for a UAV to do the same thing?

Because the blimp is soft and wouldn't hurt anyone if it fell out of the sky.

The blimp is cleared to fly through the TFR area. You are not. TFRs are common around big sporting events. www.skyvector.com.

Didn't get to fly it but I got to ride on the Fuji Blimp. Blimp is slang for Air-Ship. Fuji's has 2 Porsche Turbo engines that turn generators and the motors are electric. It was a pretty weird ride.
