I am setting up a new Phantom 2 with DJI gimbal. I have updated all of the firmware in the Phantom, Transmitter, and Gimbal, and done the recommended calibrations. Everything seems to be working fine in terms of the gimbal stabilization and control using the Transmitter tilt control. I then noticed when I went into the Assistant software that on the Gimbal page, the Gimbal was set to Off. I went ahead and switched it to On but I am wondering what this switch is supposed to do? Everything seemed to be working when it was in the Off position in the Assistant. Does turning it to the On position enable some more features. I have not flown yet, I still need to set up the DJI miniOSD and video transmitter.
