Gimbal Fan - Advanced vs Professional

I met a guy who was flying his P3 Professional in the same area as me, and we compared his Professional to my Advanced. One thing we noticed was that the gimbal on his Professional has a small fan on the top, but the gimbal on my Advanced does not. This was actually the guy's second P3 due to the first one being DAO, and he didn't think the first one he received had a fan on top of the gimbal.

Is this just an Advanced vs Professional thing? I would imagine the 4k camera might need the fan because of the extra processing, but it seems like a minor thing to leave off of the Advanced.

From what blade was saying. It's for some top secret "chip" that the pro has that the adv does not.

Yea the Pro's need additional cooling for 4K.

Something else I am curious about is what the reason is for having two different fan colors. My first P3P came with a black fan. The replacement I bought a few days ago came with a fan colored off-white. New fan manufacturer? Revision? Different manufacturing facility? Makes me wonder..
