Just say:
"Dear Mook,
I purchased this item titled DJI Phantom 3-Axis Gimbal H3-3D Back-insert AV Output Adapter Gopro4 Compatible. After extensive testing with a GoPro Hero 4 Black, I have found this interface cable does not output any video from the GoPro Camera to the Video Transmitter.
Please send me a refund as soon as possible you Gong Fei.

Respectfully,
koop"

If you would like to add additional flattering salutations please consult the list found here: http://www.rsdb.org/race/chinese
Lol omg

I purchased this on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251724545504?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

But I just installed my FPV setup and I am not getting any video (but I am getting OSD). I replaced ^^^ with the original USB ribbon cable and now I have video.

Can anyone provide me with a link to a GoPro bus cable that has confirmed video out for my Hero 3 Black Edition?

Thanks!

I just ordered one from goodluckbuy and I'm hoping this one works!

Received today this one http://www.goodluckbuy.com/dji-h3-3d-3- ... -part.html intalled it but did not work, No gopro video on fpv monitor (it did show IOSD date so vtx transmitter works). I uninstalled and put the old ribbon cable back in since I needed it for this afternoon.

I may try to reinstall this week. Is it just a defective one or is there a known issue that I can fix?

Does anyone know what the difference is between the cables that output video to a IOSD and the ones that don't. I have tried the supplied H3-3D usb cable=no video out two different stand alone usb cables with just video and ground connected to IOSB= OSD video but no GoPro Video. Very frustrating.

I had the exact same problem. You need to power on the Phantom, let's it initialize (including the gimbal), then turn on the GoPro. Also, make sure the GoPro is fully plugged into the bus connector. I had to push mine in. Didn't hear or feel a click, but pushing on it (carefully but firmly) made a difference.

I was going crazy and tried 3 different bus connectors thinking they were all defective. I got the same thing. iOSD but no gopro video. It's the sequencing of turning the p2 on then the goPro that matters.

Has anyone had luck with this on a 4 Silver?

My simple solution to the flimsy ribbon cable was to take the white tape that came with the Phantom (the same tape that is used tp wrapped around the Phantom's legs to secure the antennas) and cut it to fit around the ribbon and onto the USB port and the housing of the camera. It probably triples the strength. I have not had an issue with mine.

I would still prefer this mod over that.

After checking through ...

Am I right to say... This mod will power the hero4, but won't allow it to have fpv function??

Unless u buy the correct plug from the correct website??

I just tried my 4 Silver and can confirm that the 4 Silver does have video out via the bus port.

Kool beans!!

So which website did u buy the adapter from?? Good luck buy or ???

Looks like it's a good luck buy one... Mine is the same... Time to give it a try

Looks exactly same one as mine... Well... At least the file picture looks the same.

I have a h4 black on hand.... Now let see when I have time to try it out

The product I received was different than what was pictured. My plug ended up being black instead of silver.

Any updates on this?

Updates on what..?
