Flying Sideways in GS

I am trying to figure out if this is even possible. I have a P2V+, using my iphone to track the drone. GS is cool and seems to work very well. Is it possible to program the GS part of the app so the drone flies sideways and I can concentrate on the angle of the camera? Just to clarify, I want to drone to fly sideways so I don't get the front on view while it's flying. I want to have a "passing by" view.

As far as I'm aware it won't do it. I've tried while flight planning using the heading tool, but as far as I can figure out it only uses that during "hover" :-(
