Recently, I flew off the top of the 700' building. The home point was set and the flight went smoothly. I was wondering what would have happened if I had flown below the home point at 700' to an altitude of say 300' below. Would I lose control or would everything work fine?

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Everything would be fine and your altitude would read -300 ft.
But you should beware of the potential for blanking out a significant part of the sky and losing satellites if you're flying close to a large building.

Wow, I had not thought of that. I guess it would pay to pay attention to your satellite connections. I had 12 on the rooftop!

not to mention the bounce off from some tall buildings skewing GPS readings, I have had that happen with my auto GPS when driving through downtown canyons of tall buildings. I imagine the same thing could happen with the copter
