Where is the mini? Was waiting anxiously to watch it fall into the water. From everything I have seen with mine, those flights would’ve ended up in the drink. Nice vid!

Some things our left better unseen when it comes to the Mini in that type of forced wind. What I will tell you is that I almost broke my arm chasing it across the parking lot. :(

nice puffy P4 battery. Make sure you get the fire on video!

Noted, Unfortunately swollen batteries our at risk to catching fire and this one is no different .

The real risk is trying to squeeze the battery into the drone to make it fit
into place and accidentally piercing a hole in it.

Once that happens and the oxygen mixes with those chemicals inside the battery it burst into flames along with a thick smoke that will fill your / house / garage along with a foul smell of chemicals.

As little as a pin hole is all that it takes for the battery to start to whistle and sizzle and that leads to it bursting into flames.
This is one of the reasons why it has the tough exterior Plastic covering it.

Watch how much abuse the Power button takes within just a few minutes on the Mavic 2 in the snow and how the Phantom 4 is becoming the Favorite in severe weather conditions because of how good the gimbal is on the Phantom 4.

Besides slow motion flakes our fun to watch. ;)

This was really brave flying unless you don't care if the bird came back or not.
What was that gimbal issue at Mavic. Was it wind that blocked its turnings?
The Phantom's stability is just perfect. What was the strengt of the wind? It would be interesting to know.
Going to fly in that is almost a madness - haha!

The Gimbal ribbon on the Mavic 2 is very succeptible to a tearing because of how tight it it is.
Most likely the most damage was done to it as I was trying to hold the gimbal down against the wind.

The phantom handled it with ease , claiming back the Throne was again.

Thanks.
Maybe you know the strengt of the wind there?

I would say 20 to 30 is what I was dealing with a few strong gusts .

You mean 30miles/h or km? If miles is it possible a drone can fly that?

20 mph ( miles per hour ) with gust to 30 but not until i was past the break wall .
If the wind is a constant its easier to fly in that consistent wind than if it is constantly breaking and starting again.
