Hi,
I just got a DJI phantom 1 and wanted to see it fly. It actually started with me trying to get it flying. The aircraft turned on, calibrated and would flash 2 green dots. The controller (was turned on first) has a red light and is otherwise normal. Finally when I tried to start it up nothing would happen, the aircraft would blink green 3 times quick but nothing else. After looking online I tried to get it onto NAZA v2 and also installed some drivers. But for some reason it just won't connect. I did notice that in a video it they used a usb cable extender, is that needed?
Does anyone know what is wrong or what I need to do?
Any help is greatly appreciated and I'm happy to provide more info if needed.
Thanks!

This is what I did step by step:
To connect to assistant software:
Update your pc if needed, then set the date to 2014 (no clue if this helped I just read it from another forum) and install drivers MANUALLY by going into the DJI folder in your :C folder
IMPORTANT: Restart your PC
It should connect.
To Start motors:
Make sure to use NAZA to update your software this is crucial.
Finally calibrate your IMU using the advanced tools section, this has to be done outside and with a completely flat drone for 5 mins.
If it says that your MC is too hot, just try again/restart NAZA V2.
Try to start it, and it should just start up.
Good Luck!
