P4 Firmware Firmware and LAANC after not updating for months

Here in the Pacific NW it rains most of the winter, so I haven't flown much. I started to break out my p4 and mavic air. However, I decided to check things out. I saw that LAANC has been in use a little while. I am wondering what is going to happen when I fire up my machines. Most likely new firmware incorporating LAANC will be updated. Where I do most of my flying there are no restrictions. Will LAANC interfere with that. What can I expect?

If it was working fine the last time it was used, may want to research the update theme first. Just a precaution, may not matter.
