Firmware 3.4 or 3.04

Why does assistant say 3.4 is installed but is trying to update to 3.04? I have searched but not able to find anything on it.

It's a hilarious mistake, you are up to date though on 3.04.

Anyone shed some light on the details on the updated firmware? I have been avoiding it because of the limitations with waypoints and GS. Is there any significant upgrades that make it worthwhile?
